4.1 On-Device Processing

By default, OCR Image AI processes your images directly on your device. This means:

• Images you scan or upload are not sent to our servers.
• Text extraction happens locally on your device.
• Your images and extracted text remain private and under your control.

4.2 Cloud Processing (Optional)

For advanced features or processing of complex documents, you may opt-in to cloud processing. If you enable this feature:

• Your images will be temporarily uploaded to our secure servers for processing.
• Images are encrypted during transmission using industry-standard protocols.
• Images are automatically deleted from our servers after processing is complete (typically within 24 hours).
• You can disable cloud processing at any time through the App settings.

4.3 AI Model Improvement

To improve our OCR technology, we may use anonymized data to train our AI models. This process:

• Never uses your images or extracted text without your explicit consent.
• If you opt-in to help improve our service, any contributed data is fully anonymized.
• You can opt-out of this program at any time through the App settings.

• Extracted text and documents

This data remains on your device unless you explicitly choose to share it or enable cloud backup.
